For 36 years I served as a pastor of three different churches in Texas and Oklahoma. For almost 30 years I served as pastor of the Portland Avenue Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.

 

In November of 2021, I transitioned from the pastorate to serve in other ministry opportunities. Currently, I am an Executive Coach with Tall Oaks Coaching in Edmond, OK walking alongside a number of pastors and ministry leaders. I am also a Certified Trainer for the Prepare-Enrich Relationship Assessment equipping people to use Prepare-Enrich in their ministries having trained almost 700 people. I am doing Interim and Transitional Pastorates for churches in Oklahoma, and continue my work as a Marriage Coach taking couples through the Prepare-Enrich Assessment and preparing them for marriage or helping couples enrich their marriages, along with various speaking engagements. ​
